These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the STRVue™ platform ("Service"), operated by STRVue LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
STRVue is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that provides financial analytics, tax position awareness, depreciation modeling, and reporting tools for short-term rental (STR) property owners. The Service processes financial documents you upload to compute metrics, generate reports, and produce CPA-ready export packages.
STRVue is an analytical tool, not a tax advisor, CPA, or financial advisor. All calculations, projections, tax estimates, and recommendations provided by the Service are for informational and organizational purposes only. They do not constitute tax advice, legal advice, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified CPA, tax attorney, or financial advisor before making any tax or investment decisions based on information from the Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any calculation or projection.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
STRVue offers annual subscription plans as described on our Pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method the applicable annual fee. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as described in our 30-day satisfaction guarantee: if you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, contact us for a full refund.
You retain all ownership rights to the data and documents you upload to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. We use your uploaded documents solely to provide the Service to you: extracting financial data, computing metrics, and generating reports. We do not sell, share, or distribute your data to third parties. Documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and transmitted over TLS.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems. You agree not to use the Service to process data for which you do not have the legal right to upload and analyze.
The Service, including but not limited to its source code, object code, design, user interface, algorithms, computation engine, financial models, depreciation logic, persona-driven analysis framework, tax computation methods, report formats, data structures, and documentation (collectively, "Proprietary Materials"), constitutes the exclusive intellectual property and trade secrets of STRVue LLC. The Proprietary Materials are protected by U.S. copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws, as well as the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016 (18 U.S.C. § 1836).
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely through its intended web interface for your internal business purposes during the active subscription period. This license does not convey any ownership interest in the Proprietary Materials.
You expressly agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
(a) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, data models, or computational logic of the Service or any part thereof;
(b) use automated tools, scripts, crawlers, bots, or any form of scraping to extract, harvest, index, or systematically download content, data, computations, report structures, or any output from the Service;
(c) copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service, its outputs, report formats, computation methodologies, or user interface;
(d) use the Service, its outputs, or any information derived from the Service to build, develop, train, or improve a competing product, service, or technology, whether directly or indirectly;
(e) monitor, benchmark, or conduct performance analysis of the Service for competitive purposes;
(f) access the Service through any means other than the interfaces expressly provided by the Company, including but not limited to API calls, automated scripts, or programmatic access not authorized in writing;
(g) attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system or network, or breach any security or authentication measures;
(h) remove, alter, obscure, or circumvent any copyright notices, trade secret legends, watermarks, proprietary markings, or other intellectual property designations on or within the Service.
Any violation of this section constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account, injunctive relief, and pursuit of damages including but not limited to statutory damages under the Defend Trade Secrets Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030), and applicable state law. You acknowledge that monetary damages alone may be insufficient to remedy any breach, and that STRVue LLC shall be entitled to seek equitable relief, including injunction and specific performance, without the necessity of proving actual damages or posting a bond.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STRVue LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any computations will be accurate for your specific tax or financial situation.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. If you cancel, your access to the Service continues through the end of the current paid billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation, and your subscription will not renew. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice for violation of these Terms. We will retain your data for 30 days following the end of your access, after which it may be permanently deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Charleston County, South Carolina.
